Have you heard?
J&P Cycles awarded $20,000 to US Veterans.
What?!
Yes, they did.
The Ultimate Builder Custom Bike Show
Every year, J&P Cycles hosts the J&P Ultimate Builder Custom Bike Show in Chicago. Participants must compete at their local International Motorcycle Show before qualifying to compete for the championship title in Chicago against hundreds of other contestants.
J&P’s competition typically brings in over 350 motorcycles. But this year, the "Porterfield" won for Motorcycle Missions, a non-profit organization founded by Krystal Hess that helps veterans and first responders overcome suicidal ideation and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) through building motorcycles.
Newly crowned Kings of Custom Motorcycle Builders won by reinventing their take of a 20th-century board track racer using a 1974 Harley Davidson as their base for their inspired design.
We think this is pretty neat. What do you think? Share your reactions with us on social media!
