One of the many perks of riding an ATV is the ability to explore the previously uncharted terrain. As avid ATV enthusiasts will tell you, these types of adventures can last days out into the wilderness on camping or fishing expeditions; with only you, a few friends and some supplies.
These types of trips are why we ride ATVs in the first place, but at the risk of sounding like an over-concerned parent, it is always important to plan ahead.
Of course, there are the basics like plenty of water, fuel, sunscreen and other typical camping supplies. But it is also smart to be prepared in case you have a break down on your ATV adventure; or worst-case scenario, you have an accident or get lost. After all, you'll be traversing pretty rough terrain and bad things can happen.
Such necessities include a compass, lighter, AM/FM radio station, flashlight, flares, basic utility tools, and a repair kit for your ATV tires.
