Some of the greatest ATV trails in the country are located in Central Utah. One of the best western ATV trails is the Paiute Trail System located in Sevier County. There have been many magazines and websites that have named the Paiute ATV Trail system to be one of the best ATV riding trails in the country. The Paiute Trail is a trail with no beginning and no end. It would take a few days to travel the main 238 mile trail and then several more to ride the hundreds of connecting trails. The Paiute Trail covers over 1900 miles in the beautiful Fishlake National Forest. The scenery will take your breath away.
Sevier County hosts several ATV/UTV jamborees in the summer and fall months. This is a great opportunity to get out and ride to get a feel for the trail routes. The first annual Salina ATV Rendezvous will be held in the town of Salina on July 20-22 in Salina, Utah. There will be two days of guided rides on the Gooseberry and Paiute Trail Systems. Information about ATV events in Sevier County can be located here.
The Rocky Mountain ATV Jamboree is held in September every year and hosts 70 guided rides every year along with food, prizes and loads of fun for everyone. In 2009 the jamboree organizers attempted to break the world record for longest ATV parade. They gathered ATV riders from the jamboree and the surrounding communities to form a parade that paraded down Main Street in Richfield, Utah and actually did beat that Guinness World Record with 1,870 ATVs.
Central Utah truly is a beautiful place to get out and ride your ATV/UTV. The mountains, lakes and meadows are spectacular. There are so many trails that usually you can have the trail to yourself for some quiet pondering. If you want to get out and enjoy nature, get in and go to Sevier County and the Paiute Trail Systems.
